Hello, my name is Lola Georg (pronounced like George) and my goal is to enhance and support the well-being of all people. Together we can address your current challenges and build long-term resiliency.
Over the last decade, I have helped people with a variety of issues including; anxiety, post-traumatic stress, panic, verbal and sexual abuse, eating disorders, relationships, and gender issues. I have also helped people to build skills around parenting, communication, mindfulness, self-care, and anger management.
Lola has a master’s degree in pastoral counseling from Neumann University, and business degrees from Moravian College and Penn State University. Her internship was at Daemion Counseling Center, where she provided counseling services to people who could not afford traditional therapy fees. She received counseling license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2007, has been practicing the art of counseling since 2005.
Lola support all people: lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, straight, single, monogamous or polyamorous, and she abides by the American Counseling Association’s Code of Ethics. She is a certified trauma professional and certified distance counselor.
Lola is a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and lives in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia with her partner. You can often find her taking photographs, hiking the Wissahickon, walking the Schuylkill trail, or reading a novel.
