Hello, my name is Lola Georg (pronounced like George) and my goal is to enhance and support the well-being of all people. Together we can address your current challenges and build long-term resiliency.
Over the last decade, I have helped people with a variety of issues including; anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, panic, verbal and sexual abuse, eating disorders, relationships, and gender issues. I have also helped people to build skills around parenting, communication, mindfulness, self-care, and anger management.
I have a master’s degree in pastoral counseling from Neumann University, and business degrees from Moravian College and Penn State University. My internship was at Daemion Counseling Center, where I provided counseling services to people who could not afford traditional therapy fees. I received my license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2007. I have been practicing the art of counseling since 2005, and opened my own private practice in 2015.
I support all people: lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, straight, single, monogamous or polyamorous, and I abide by the American Counseling Association’s Code of Ethics. I am a certified trauma professional and can provide online or distance counseling services.
I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and live in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia with my partner. You can often find me hiking the Wissahickon, walking the Schuylkill trail, or reading a novel.
